Ternyata tidak harus menunggu sampai tanggal 26 Juli untuk menunggu video klip lagu Payphone dirilis. Iya sih, memang album terbaru Maroon 5 baru akan dirilis pada tanggal tersebut, tapi video klip hits pertamanya sekarang sudah bisa dilihat di Youtube. Senangnya :-D

Ini liriknya (tapi tanpa bagian rap-nya ya, maaf, hoho). Seperti biasa, khas Maroon 5, kalaupun harus galau, maka galaunya pun bukan galau menyerah pasrah. Namun, menurutku galaunya berkata, "come back to me, you know i'll always treat you like a queen", seperti juga lagunya yang lain, Misery, She Will be Loved, Won't Go Home Without You...haha, sok tahu banget ya aku.

Nice lyrics...meskipun menurutku videonya enggak nyambung sama liriknya, tapi aku tetep heboh dalam hati waktu lihat adegan si Adam berusaha keluar dari scene perampokan itu. Aaaaaaaaaaaa banget deh :D
Di youtube sendiri banyak pendapat orang-orang yang berusaha memahami arti video itu. Mungkin ada sebuah metafor di dalam video itu. Tapi gimana aku bisa berpikir keras untuk memikirkan metafora di balik video klip itu kalau Adam levine yang jadi aktornya, hahaha. I ended up commenting like this in youtube:

How about this: Adam is the bad guy, he is the robber also. Other robbers were shooting at him, but not even one bullet hit him (just so people won't think that Adam is on their team). Adam could care less about other people, but he saved the office girl. At 0.51, watch his expression as he saw her. Maybe they were a lover..but something happened and their relationship ended. He still love her though. When he survived from the cops, he called her, spend all of his changes to make sure she's fine
